Confidential discussion

Some questions deserve room.

If a brief has surfaced a question relevant to your family, your clients or your wider responsibilities, you can request a private introductory conversation. You speak with the editor directly.

What we can talk about.

  1. 01

Estate and succession mapping. Where your assets would go today, which instruments are missing, and what a will can and cannot reach.

  2. 02

Capacity planning. Lasting powers of attorney, and what happens if nothing is in place.

  3. 03

Holding structures. Whether a company, trust, fund structure or insurance wrapper fits what you are trying to achieve, and what it would cost to run.

  4. 04

Cross-border exposure. Assets held outside Singapore, family members abroad, and foreign estate tax.

  5. 05

Coordination. Bringing lawyers, trustees, licensed advisers and managers onto one plan.

How it works.

If there is work worth doing, you receive the scope, terms and any third-party relationship in writing before anything proceeds.

Before we speak.

The Legacy Briefs may undertake separately agreed consultancy or coordination work for a fee. Where your matter needs a regulated product or service, we may introduce you to a licensed financial adviser, fund manager or other professional, and The Legacy Briefs may receive an introduction or referral fee from that firm.

You will be told who the firm is, and whether a fee applies, before any introduction is made. You are under no obligation to proceed.
